Climbing in Jibacoa

A new climbing area has been opened in Jibacoa, a few meters from the beach and very close to Campismo Los Cocos and Hotel Villa Loma.

The rock quality is excellent, these formations have the same origin and are part of the karst system of Jaruco, although the grips are often different. Sector access to the honeycombs are made from an open road near a small cottage located opposite the market, there has been marked by rocks the beginning of the road leading to the base of the rock, the approach is carried through the vegetation and is cleaned up a bit theway, while that has been gathering some rocks to serve as a guide. To reach the base of the wall must go up a small rise of land with lots of rocks that break off, so you have to consider this item and are recommended as support stems from the abundant vegetation and be very careful not dislodge rocks that reach those who come after.
